E S P E R S

Espers are magical beings that possess great magic power. If there magic power is drained, they die and turn into Magicite. By equiping Magicite on your characters, they will learn the magic powers that the Esper had. Every playable character is only entitled to equip only 1 Esper.

Esper System
The "Learn Rate" is how fast your characters will learn the magic. For every battle you fight, you will get Magic Points. If you get 5 ability points after the battle, and the learn rate is x10, then you will gain 50 points towards learning that magic spell. The spell becomes learned once you have gained 100 points for that spell.

Espers can only be summoned once during the battle and it works the same way as switching weapons in your hand, just go to Magic Command and hit and the Esper will appear. Every single Esper has its own specality and range of spells for learning. For details on the list of spells, please click here for more details.
