Background
Sabin, Edgar of Figaro's twin brother, is a master of the martial arts. When their father died, he left the kingdom and gave up the throne to pursue his dreams and find freedom. He studied under Duncan and mastered Blitz skills. Another student, Vargas, thought that Sabin was chosen to succeed Duncan, which gave rise to jealousy, so he killed Duncan. Sabin is on a vengeful search for Vargas, and will not give up until justice is served.

Skill - Blitz
Every character has his/her own unique set of special attacks known as "Skills". Some of them requires the character to equip weapons or accessories to function, while others depend on the experience levels of the character. Some characters have a single skill ability while others have multiple ones.   Blitz are perhaps the toughest-to-execute technique among all skills abilities. You will need to input correct buttons in order for Sabin to execute these techniques. The tradeoff for the toughness is the power of Blitz.
Blitz
Upon the first time using Sabin, you will be forced to use one of his Blitz skills. To execute Blitz, select Blitz with / . While the arrow is pointing at Sabin, hit the button inputs (listed under each skills) and hit / to end the command. There are a total of 8 Blitzes

Magic
Final Fantasy VI has an unique magic learning system, which is also known as Esper System. To acquired new Magic, your characters need to search for new Espers, which these will turn into Magicite. The characters could inherit the Esper's Magic as long they are summoned in battles. At the end of the battle, your characters could gained Magic Points [which works like Ability Points]. Most magic arrives from power of Magicites, jewels that allows you to summon Esper. For more details, please refer to our Magic Section.

Critical Attack - Tiger Break
Tiger Break
Occasionally, a character could use a special attack - known as Critical Attack, when they are under a Critical status such as having a low HP. Under Critical status, there is a possibility of Sabin using the Tiger Break when using the Attack command. Mimicking he power of a tiger, Sabin leaps at an enemy and claws them for powerful non-elemental damage.
