Notes: This is
the final battle in order to win the game Do not turn
off the Playstation/PC until you saw the words, "The
End"
The Queen of Evil...
The current room is filled with gears. There is another draw
point - Stop within the
area. Now, you need to move across the hands of the clock
and climb down the ladder. Eventually, you will find a path
leading to the Master Room.
Use the Save Point there and make your preparations...
As you examine the door, you will see the following prompt:
(This is it.. Ultimecia is here.)
(Get it over with.. Fight her now)
(It's too early to face her)
Pick the middle option and Squall and his company will meet
up with Ultimecia, the master of the castle. After short conversation,
you will be fighting the game's final battle...
The
final boss fight involves all 6 characters. Ultimecia
will pick three characters randomly to battle her. Squall
will not always start off in the first battle. Despite
this, it is really logical to have all GFs junction
to the three best characters.
Once an ally has not been revived within 2 turns or
Ultimecia has reached her turn, she will use "Angel"
which will remove the character from the battlefield
instantly... In other words, keep your best three characters
alive at all costs.
The game's best offense magic can be draw from the final
boss. Draw-and-cast it and view the ultimate destruction
of Apocalypse...
Ultimecia
A sorceress trying to change the world by compressing
time and taking power from all sorceresses

Squall's LV: 100
S T R A T E G Y
This is the most easiest battle among the 4 battles.
Ultimecia is very vulnerable against Poison elemental
attacks. Summon GF Doomtrain. You can draw-and-cast
Demi on her. Get an advantage in speed by casting Haste
on the entire party. Summon GF Cerberus and cast Regen
on all characters. As this going to be a long fight.
Generally, she is just as strong as Edea in the fight
during Disc 2.
Her Maelstorm can does intensive damage to all characters
along with Slow/Curse status. Just cast Esuna or use
the Treatment command to remove it. After you have defeated
her, she will summon her GF - Griever.
Griever
In Squall's mind, the strongest GF. Through Ultimecia's
power continues fighting without vanishing.
Elemental:
Absorbs ,
has no effect
Difficulty: 80%
Squall's LV: 100
S T R A T E G Y
Despite it being called the strongest GF in the game,
this is no challenge compared to the Weapons - Ultima
and Omega. The GF is quite fast and smart and it used
Triple on itself. Griever can do a couple of great techniques
such as casting Gravija or blowing a stock of spells
in your inventory!
For this battle avoid summoning GF Brothers/Doomtrain,
as they do not wokr on the boss.
Cast Meltdown on the boss. After you have done around
230,000+ HP of damage, it will cast its Summon Attack
- Shockwave Pulsar, which will does approximately 3,000+
to 6,000 HP damage to all allies. The damage is dependable
on the character's Spirit statistics. Restores your
allie's HP back to full and use Limit Breaks to finish
it off...
Ultimecia
"Griever"
Ultimecia junction to Griever. A power monster continues
Ultimecia's and Griever's forces.
Helix
Ultimecia's magic amplifier. By combining the 2 amplifiers,
her power can be amplified greatly...

Difficulty: 85%
Squall's LV: 100
S T R A T E G Y
This boss is a combination of Ultimecia and Griever.
The boss is able to cast strong group-effect magic such
as Meteor and Tornado. Ultimecia "Griever"
can easily does tremendous amount of damage to all allies
with the spells already. The damage can be amplify with
it summons a Helix. The helix is a magic amplifier and
they will increase the damage dealt by the Boss by 25%.
The boss can have only 2x Helix through out the battle.
Don't bother on them as they will be regenerated by
the boss, instead concentrate your attacks mainly on
the BOSS. Once the party has done around 300,000+ damage
to it, the lower portion will start to drop off. The
boss offensive motion changes and it start use physical
attacks. The claw swipe could does a massive damage
of 1,000 to a character whose vitality is lower than
100. Cast Protect on the entire party to reduce the
damage. Cast Meltdown on the boss followed by Aura on
Squall. Have the latter uses Renzoukuken...

Absorbing all existence as we speak.

This is the final one. Ultimecia has around 600,000
HP at the level of 65! The boss hit points increases
by 175,000 depending on the total levels of the characters
of the entire party. If all characters are at level
100, Ultimecia will have 1,000,000 hit points! Despite
its massive HP, it is nowhere as strong as the Omega.
Ultimecia has a high tendency of "blowing"
off the entire stock of magic from a character.
The Boss can cast game's strongest offense magic in
the game. One is Ultima and other one is Apocalypse,
which could does a tremedous damage of 3,000+ to all
characters even with 200 Spr stats. Ultimecia has also
a powerful attack - Hell Judgement, which causes all
allie's HP drop to 1, just like Mobile Type 8's Corona.
The only weakness of the BOSS is it's speed. For my
case, my characters will be able to execute six turns
for a turn of hers and weak defense. It took me two
Lion Hearts to finish it off...
Throughout the battle, make sure that you have Regen
being cast on the entire party. Make sure that all characters
of the current party, their HP are maxed out each time.
You will never know the Apocalypse will be cast. Cast
Meltdown on Ultimecia and cast Aura on Squall. Have
Squall's attack mainly as the Renzouken and you will
definitely get a chance to see his Lion Heart.
However there are some precautions. Ultimecia occasionally
will draw Apocalypse from her lower half. That is also
the only chance that you draw the Apocalypse for your
use. Try to keep Squall's HP within a comfortable range
of 4,000+ and Aura being cast on him immediately once
it starts to wears off. Quistis Shockwave Pulsar, GF
Eden, Zell's Duel and Irvine's Shot can does tremendous
amount of damage. Dish everything that you have as the
games... Leviathan's Recover and Alexander's Revive
is extremely useful against the boss...
