General Junk
These items are useless in nature, as you cannot use them via the Item menu. However, they are vital in weapon upgrading and refinements. You can make full use of them by using refinement menus to refine them in spells or items.

Blue Magic Items
Blue Magic Items are extremely important in Final Fantasy VIII. These items are not only used in weapon upgrading and refinement, their primary purpose is to allow Quistis to learn Blue Magic. Blue Magic are Quistis' Limit Breaks. There are a total of 16 Blue Magic Items for Quistis to learn.
