Weapon
Monthly Magazine
There are a total of 7 issues. Each magazine provides
you with information on weapons and the ingredients /materials
that are required to upgrade the weapon. All the magazines
can be obtained easily via purchase or questing except for
the final issue - Weapon Monthly 1st Issue.
You can view the magazines via the Item Menu by selecting
the item like using Potions. Upon viewing the pages of the
magazine, you will automatically unlock the weapons and it
will be available for upgrading. The upgrading information
will be available at Junk Shops. You need to obtained the
required materials and gain access to a Junk Shop for the
upgrading.
Please note that it is not compulsory for you get this magazines
in order for the upgrading information to appear on the Junk
Shop. The data will also appear as long as you have the minimum
ingredients for the upgrading. This explains why people are
able to obtain the best weapon - Lion Heart in Disc 1 and
Disc 2.

Pet Pals
Issue
A Pet Pals Issue allows Rinoa to train Angelo with a
new trick - thus gaining a new Combine technique for her Limit
Breaks. You will automatically unlock them once you have viewed
the magazine. But Angelo has not learn the trick yet.
Activates Rinoa's status screen. You will find a screen with
a series of gauge indicators found next to every single Limit
Break. The gauge builds up as you walk on the terrain. The
gauge builds faster when you have encounter less random battles.

Occult
Fan Issue
Occult Fan Issues are used to provide you with hints on solving
the UFO sighting incident, getting GF Doomtrain and a couple
of mysterious items. These items are meant for collection
purposes. They provides hints to people in get GF Doomtrain.

make your way down the stairs. Move towards left and
you will find Master Fisherman - Disc 2. Talk to him
and say that the Garden is responsible for the Incident. |

After navigating Esthar in
Disc 3 for a while, head back to Esthar Presidential
meeting and you find an assistant complaining about
Professor Odine and leaves the magazine there for you
to collect. |
